Commitment to Bilingual Education & Academic Excellence
At A.J. Charbonneau, we are proud to offer diverse programming that meets the growing needs of our students. We provide Bilingual Kindergarten to start our youngest learners on a path of language enrichment. The French Immersion program has been expanding each year, for grades 1-6 in the 2025-2026 school year, with a planned expansion to include all grades through Grade 8 in the following two years. Our dedicated team of educators is passionate about ensuring strong literacy and numeracy foundations and encouraging critical thinking and collaboration across all grade levels, setting a high standard for academic success.

Our core mission is to provide a safe, challenging, and supportive learning environment where academic excellence and character development go hand-in-hand. Every classroom is a technology-enabled learning environment, giving students access to a variety of digital tools that support personalized instruction and prepare them for the future. Beyond the classroom, we foster talent and teamwork through a variety of sports teams, intramural sports, and various clubs offered throughout the year.

Our Beautiful Outdoor Space
The learning continues outside! We are fortunate to have a beautiful and expansive outdoor space that encourages active play and physical health. This includes a large yard, a full soccer field for team sports, as well as a play structure, swings, and sports courts. These areas are promote physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction during recess and structured outdoor education.
