AJ Charbonneau Public School students participate in many fundraisers that support our programs, trips and resources for students. In the past, proceeds have gone towards, class trips, iPad purchases and board games for indoor recess during inclement weather. Classroom teachers also initiate fundraisers to support charities that help the less fortunate.

Terry Fox Run

Our students participate as a school in the annual Terry Fox Run held in September each year. In addition to the physical benefits, our students raised over $1000.00 in September 2017 to support the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.

Food Bank

For Thanksgiving, students collected and donated boxed food items, juice, and canned meats to the Arnprior Food Bank.

A.J.  collects new and gently used snowsuits, footwear and other outerwear items in support of the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN). Collection start date is November, 2017.

Monetary donations are also very gratefully accepted and should be delivered or mailed to CPAN.  Cheques should be made payable to CPAN with Operation Snowsuit in the memo. Mail to:  130 Pembroke Street West, Pembroke, ON K8A 5M8.

Last year, we helped 396 local children and youth (0 to 18 years old).

Any help that you can provide is gratefully appreciated, and thanks to all in advance for your time and any support you may give to this very worthy cause.
