Students are expected to wear acceptable school attire that reflects the general rule of good sense in a working environment. Indoor shoes are essential for students to safely travel from room to room and to be prepared for fire drills or emergency evacuation. The following clothing is not permitted: T-shirts and or hats bearing coarse language or promoting the use of alcohol or illicit drugs, halter-tops, and spaghetti straps, short shorts (shorts should be as long as the tips of your fingers when arms are at your sides), shirts or dresses with a low cut front, muscle shirts or other clothing of questionable taste for school. The school staff will insist that the student change into other clothing as provided by the student or from the Lost and Found. Parents are advised not to send their children to school wearing flip flops as it can be a safety hazard while they are playing on the yard and using playground equipment.
Earrings, neck chains, platform / shoes runners, flip flops, etc. are a hazard in gym class and therefore students are expected to make the necessary changes before class begins
Students are expected to go outside during the winter months unless the temperature is below -24C with the wind chill. Please ensure your child dresses warmly.
